When my son and I were doing the grocery shopping together at the local Superstore, we came outside with our cart to this gorgeous storm rolling in on us! The video doesn’t show how fast it was moving, but it was really coming in at a good pace! This was when it was almost on top of us. There is nothing I love more than a good storm! I mean… carrying the groceries inside during a downpour is less fun, but if I am on the right side of the glass, I love to see it rage out there. (And Mr. Johns came out to help our son carry the groceries. I might go get them, but my guys always carry them.)
The top of the storm was all compressed and pushed down, and it came in like a massive hamburger bun. The video doesn’t show that very well, but this picture does.
It looks like a monster of a storm, but it was just rain–much needed in Alberta right now with the wildfires! (Our area is safe, but there are a few communities still at risk) We were grateful to get it!
