Every. Dang. Time.

The saga of the Frogs continues…

Amelia had finished going over Patricia Johns’s manuscript, and she heaved a sigh. It was a good story–it always was! But Patricia kept making the same mistake every time.

Amelia opened up a new email and began to type:

Dear Patricia,

I thoroughly enjoyed your story, however, there are far too many kisses! Please remove six of the kisses in this book–you may keep the kiss that happens in the barn. That one is my favorite. Other than that, let’s get your hero’s lips off the heroine.

And please don’t cry this time. When the book is done, it is always wonderful.

Sincerely,

Amelia

Amelia pressed Send.

Patricia was going to cry about it again, wasn’t she?

I hope you’re enjoying a peek into the life of the Frogs who live above my desk! Poor Amelia endures so much with her emotional author… but somehow we get through.

If you’d like to check out my books, you might find your next read! And if you’d like to sign up for my newsletter, it comes out monthly, and we choose winners every month to receive packages in the mail from Yours Truly.

Happy reading!

  2. Patricia, LOOK! I found the link again (February 20, 2024)! Oh and don’t cry about the kisses. Amelia just knew that it usually only takes one to find the Prince.
The second kiss is from the joy of finding him.

Your comments make me feel warm and fuzzy. Seriously!
