My teenager said, “Heh, heh… Did you see what I did to your dollhouse room?”
The joke’s on him–I’m going to use it! ![]()

George always told Amelia to shut the screen door. And she always forgot. Granted, normally it was the flies that came inside… Today, it was something more alarming, and George determined to tell this story very differently.

George and Amelia are about to go out for a walk. They stop and look out the window, and while it looks very pleasant out there, George is in a drowsy, lazy mood.
George: Are you sure you want to take a walk?
Amelia: We got our shoes on and everything!
George: I was thinking of a nice tall mug of hot chocolate with a swirl of whipped cream on top. And we could curl up on our bed and go through Facebook and snoop on people we haven’t seen in years and years.
Amelia:…
George:…
Amelia: I like your idea better. Let’s go back in.

While snooping on people on Facebook that they hadn’t seen in years and years, they came upon a toad that used to be sweet on Amelia. And when George asked her about him, she said she thought Toad still looked very nice for a toad his age.
Now, George is sitting outside, under the potted plant, thinking sad and dismal thoughts about Amelia’s fondness for a toad who looks terrible for a toad his age, in George’s humble opinion.
George is not jealous. He’s just disappointed.
I hope you’re enjoying the newly married adventures of Amelia and George Frog. This is what keeps me busy while I’m supposed to be writing. But never fear, I am hammering away on my books when I’m not sorting out new drama for the Frogs!
