Canadian Thanksgiving

In Canada, Thanksgiving comes in early October, and we had a wonderful time. My parents joined us for a full turkey dinner which our son cooked up for us. He did a wonderful job. He’s a great cook! Mr. Johns and I did the clean up.

When my parents arrived, they helped us with a photoshoot for the Frogs. The Frogs have become a real family fun activity around here. Mr. Johns helps me think up new plots, our teenager peppers us with silly ideas, and my parents are always coming up with ideas, too. We have so much fun!

This Thanksgiving, I wanted to put real food on the dollhouse miniature plates, so before we ate, we set up the Frogs’ table with food from ours.

I have plans to use those photos for when the Frogs celebrate American Thanksgiving… so stay tuned for that.

This Thanksgiving I’m so thankful for our family. We have so much fun together, and they really are the centre of my world.

If you are Canadian, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! If you’re American, I hope you enjoy your upcoming Thanksgiving as much as we enjoyed ours.
