Crafting Frogs for My Amish B&B Miniature Set

When I’m not writing books, you’ll often find me enjoying my miniature hobby. I have a whole Amish B&B miniature set up, and you can see my stories that I spin from them on my Facebook page, and on Instagram.

Now, originally, I purchased the knitted frogs who inhabit my B&B on Etsy, but I decided to try my hand at making some frogs of my own to enlarge the cast of characters… and it turned out that I could!

You’ll remember Rosemary the Toad from my giveaway. She’s since been sent to the winner, but we all got very attached to her on my Facebook page. She’s a sweet toad.

And then I decided to try my hand at another frog–this one with a wire frame inside to support the posable body and the more detailed head.

This is Marvin! He’s going to be a permanent member of the Froggy Amish B&B cast, so I won’t be giving him away.

But I do have plans to make another frog that I will use for an upcoming giveaway, so if you’ve ever thought you’d love to get your hands on a knitted frog in Amish clothes? You’ll be able to in the new year!

I’m really delighted that I was able to figure out how to make these frogs. Now that I can, I’ll be making more of them! They really satisfy that crafty urge when I just want to make something cute and get away from my keyboard.

I hope you’ll check out the froggy stories that I share on social media. They are a lot of fun!

Happy reading!
