Without further ado, this is Tanya Agler:
A huge thank you to Patricia for hosting me on her blog today, especially as we in the Northern Hemisphere are about to say goodbye to summer and hello to my favorite season of autumn. Many great memories of my life have taken place in autumn. While in college, I met my husband in November, and the following week, we sat next to each other on a hayride, which was also especially memorable as the driver lost his wedding ring while showing us around his farm. We’d been married for some time and already had two children when we welcomed our twins on an October day. And then there are the fall festivals. I love walking around different outdoor sites whether they’re a salute to all things apple or a fund-raiser for a local charity.
Fall brings cooler temperatures and makes walking and hiking especially pleasant in Georgia, where I live with my husband, four children, and our lovable beagle, Linus. Whether I’m walking through an apple orchard or hiking in one of the many state parks while enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful changing colors of the leaves, fall is a time to get out of the house and enjoy nature or one of those trips to a festival.
The Single Dad’s Holiday Match (Smoky Mountain First Responders, book 1)
‘Tis the season…For unexpected love!
Officer Jonathan Maxwell is just as devoted to his job as he is to his two young daughters, leaving zero time for a social life. Until he meets Brooke Novak. The newly hired community center director is a single parent, too, and also part of his latest investigation. Jonathan needs Brooke’s help if he’s going to close his case by Thanksgiving…but she might be the biggest distraction from keeping his mind on his job.
