This is a recipe my friend Cheryl introduced me to, and it’s become a huge favorite in our home. We call it Tidbits.
This is a honey garlic chicken dish–and it’s delicious!
It’s pretty easy…
Ingredients:
Four chopped up chicken breasts (bite sized pieces)
3/4 cup corn starch
2 tsp salt
Directions:
Coat the chicken bits in corn starch and salt mixture, and fry in a pan until they are golden brown. They don’t need to be cooked through. Put them in a baking dish.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of creamed honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Mix it together and take it off the heat.
Pour the sauce over the chicken chunks, cover with foil, and put in the oven at 350F for 45 minutes. (Although, honestly, mine are a little overcooked. You might want to try 20 minutes, and check them…)
Delicious! Serve it over rice, and enjoy!
