My family loves chili! Truth be told, my husband and son both like it made a little bit differently (one likes it with meat, the other without), so when I make chili, I make two pots of it–one for each of them.
But this recipe is my favorite chili. It’s the one with meat.

The basis of this recipe is:
~meat
~beans
~herbs
~the ingredients for BBQ sauce, but if you want to simplify things, just add your favorite BBQ sauce!
Ingredients:
Ground beef (as much as you like!)
5-6 cups Cooked Pinto beans
Whole bulb of garlic
Thyme (four or five fresh sprigs)
Rosemary (one fresh sprig)
1 can crushed tomatoes
1.5 cans (from the crushed tomatoes) of water
6 tbsp oil
2 tbsp salt
1 lemon juiced
1 packed cup of brown sugar
Hot peppers to taste
Directions:
Brown the meat in the pot with the oil and the entire bulb of garlic minced. Add beans and all other ingredients. Simmer on low for one hour.

Easy peasy, and delicious!
