Win a Hand-Knitted Frog: Giveaway Closed

Giveaway CLOSED

Winner: Kathy Adamski
_______________________________

To celebrate the upcoming release of Still Waters, the second book in my Amish of Shepherd’s Hill miniseries, I am holding a very special giveaway!

This is your chance to win a hand knitted frog of your very own! This is Rosemary! She stands about 7 inches tall. She is wearing a hand stitched Amish dress and apron, and she comes with a doll stand. She also has her own piece of knitting that she is knitting onto toothpicks. (Chair not included.)

In order to enter, you can either pre-order Still Waters, or you can sign up for my newsletter. If you do both, you have more chances to win!

Pre-order:

(If you live in the US, Baker Book House is your best price at 40% off and includes free shipping.)

Newsletter Sign-up:

You can confirm you have done one (or both!) of these things using the giveaway button below! It will take you to a Google form you can fill out to enter.

Enter the Giveaway Here

That’s it!

If you are already signed up for my newsletter, or you have already pre-ordered the book, (or you have done both!) just enter the information, and it counts toward your entries! Sharing this giveaway gives you more chances to win, too! Doing all three–pre-ordering, the newsletter sign up, and sharing the giveaway–gives you the most chances to win.

*Winner must live in US or Canada. Winner will be chosen October 31, 2025.

Best of luck!

    Thank you , Patricia!

  2. No, an author cannot legally require a preorder to give away a prize in a sweepstakes or giveaway
. This would be considered an illegal lottery under U.S. federal and state laws, which require that any game of chance offering a prize must provide an alternative, no-cost method of entry.

Here is a breakdown of the legal requirements and alternative options for authors.

    The “No Purchase Necessary” rule

Equal odds: Any free method of entry must give participants the exact same chance of winning as those who make a purchase.

    1. I didn’t realize it had to have equal chances. I’ll change it now. Thanks for pointing that out!

  3. LOVE Amish stories!
