I know that ebooks can be unappealing to some readers who like to hold a physical book in their hands. But I’ve got some really good reasons why you might want to take another look at ebooks!
- They’re cheaper!
Ebooks cost less! When there are sales online for books at $1.99? Those are ebooks. And when you look at the price of a paperback versus the ebook option, it’s a lot cheaper!

In this screenshot I took of one of my own books, the Kindle version (which is Amazon’s ebook) is considerably cheaper than other options.
2. You can make the print as large as you like!
Do you need large print to read more comfortably? Buying the large print version of a book costs more. It costs more to print, and more to buy. But if you use an ebook, you can adjust the size of the print right there! No extra cost!

3. You can read your book right on your smart phone or tablet!
Sitting at the doctor’s office waiting to be seen? Your book is right there to help you pass the time.
It’s easy to set up! You download the free reading app to your phone. If you use Kindle (Amazon’s ebook), you download the Kindle app to your phone. You sign in, and all your books are right there! It’s super easy!
Also, if you have a child or grandchild who can get you set up, you’re good to go! But even if you don’t, it’s easy to do. Don’t be intimidated.

4. You get your book right away–no waiting!
When you pre-order a book, the minute it releases, it lands on your e-reader! (That’s your phone or tablet.) And you get it right away! You wake up that morning, and the book is there waiting for you!
When you buy a book, it’s immediately sent to your e-reader, too. So you can sit down and start reading right away.
It’s convenient!
You might want to consider ebooks the next time you’re looking for something to read. They’re more convenient than you think!
Happy reading!
