A Crafty Summer

I scaled back a little bit this summer and took a few weeks off of my Froggy Amish B&B stories that I post on Facebook three times a week. And the end result was a whole lot more crafting!

But I think this crafting was worth it, and it will benefit all of us.

First of all, I made a new Brigette for the Froggy Amish B&B stories that will resume on my Facebook page in September.. She had to grow up a little bit, and so I set to knitting (and sewing her clothes!)

I also set to making some new bedding for the frogs. One of my readers suggested I make a quilt, and that sounded like fun! I would have used my sewing machine, but it was such tiny work, and I didn’t think I could do it with a sewing machine. So I stitched it by hand, which feels appropriate for an Amish B&B, doesn’t it?

There was more knitting of some froggy bedding, too… it seems I was quite preoccupied with making sure my frogs were ready for a cozy fall and winter!

If you don’t follow me on Facebook, you can rectify that! 🙂 I post about my books, and about the Froggy Amish B&B, which is a series of stories featuring a family of knitted frogs.

Happy reading!
