The welcome wreath

I’ve blogged about our front door wreath before. It’s a plain wreath that I decorate for different seasons. Honestly? We live in an apartment, so we don’t have a tonne of extra storage space for seasonal wreaths.

So, I work with just one.

Now, I have plans for a spring/summer wreath, but haven’t had time to put it together. (I was to get just one big bloom to put at the bottom of the wreath–simple and a splash of color!) And since it’s already April, I had to take down the red berries and frosty pinecones… So just to keep something on the wreath, I used a Christmas tree decoration.

I think the gold bird is rather cute!

I mean, we have to make the UPS and Amazon delivery people feel welcome, right?

Have you checked out my books yet? If you love stories about home and hearth, I think you’ll like mine! You never know… you might find your next read.

Happy reading!
