What are Amish Adjacent stories?
It’s simple, really. Amish stories are about Amish people. The hero and heroine will both be Amish, and they’ll see the world through an Amish lens.
Amish Adjacent stories are about people who live close by the Amish. They have close friendships with Amish people, and those Amish views, Amish experiences, and Amish subplots are going to be incredibly important to how the story unfolds!

Here are some of my Amish Adjacent stories.
The Amish Country Haven miniseries, featuring two brothers who have inherited a ranch smack in the middle of Amish Country. They’ve got a sweet little Amish girl next door who just wants to be friends!
Then we have The Butternut Amish B&B miniseries. This is a series about an B&B run by an elderly Amish woman named Belinda Wickey who has terrible boundaries and just keeps pulling her Englisch guests in the Amish drama in her community! Meanwhile, Belinda’s neighbor is in love with her, and she has no idea!
And then there is my newest series, The Amish Antiques Shop miniseries! This one features three sisters who inherit an Amish antiques shop, and must run it together for a full year. Meanwhile, in the Amish community they live beside, an electrician has fallen in love with an Amish girl… scandal of the century!
And if you’d like to try a single, stand alone book that is a little bit Amish cozy mystery, and a little bit sweet romance, give this one a try! This one has a Pennsylvania State trooper heroine who is being disciplined for insubordination… and she’s reporting to her old partner who has climbed the ranks!
